I experiment with gravity from time to time.
left leg out with my toe pointed towards the ground leaning forward.
clap goes my chucks on the pavement,
I guess it’s still there.
Jumping higher this time I tuck my legs in a few moments of upward motion.
I drop through the center of the world to come out the other side falling skyward.
Like a revolution of balance I fall through the same depth to come back where I started.
Still tucked with my eyes closed I’ve travel thousands of miles in a few seconds.
I’ve broken free of gravity’s unwritten laws.
Believe me or not,
I can fly.
