4 months ago i was working for KYCC.
Today i revisited places i spent my waking life at.
It wasn’t all bad.
I woke up the 4 year olds and told them about things too adult for their tiny minds but they stared blankly at me pretending to understand.
This is the only way i was able to tell them of the occult origins of Halloween without their parents freaking out on me.
“Can anyone tell me what a pentagram stands for!” I ask in a booming voice.
Yue Jin’s response was “Look at my shoes Teacher Ryan, they light up like on fire!”
I actually happened to stop by because i had some free time before my job interview with AADAP.
But seeing them, playing with them and filling their minds with nonsense made my day.
It brought me back to a time when my mind wasn’t constantly scheming and the world was as simple as the alphabet.
I miss those days, and even though they won’t remember me when they grow up,
I know in the back of their mind they will be curious about Pentagrams.
